Decrease eating canned food
I know first hand how easy and convenient it could be to use canned foods. I'm a grandson and son of a grocer. Believe it or not, we used to eat dented canned foods that we couldn't sell to our customers
It’s important to note that these canned foods are often lined with substances that are rich in chemicals that prevent the metal from rusting. These phenols are oftentimes found in the linings. BPA, BPS, and other phenols can really disrupt our endocrine system.
Men with a high level of BPA's in their urine were more than four times as likely to have lower sperm counts, more than three times as likely to have poor sperm vitality, and more than twice as likely to have lower sperm motility than those with undetectable BPA in their urine.
The effects of BPA can affect your offspring. Boys of men who have high BPA exposure often have shorter AGD (anal genital distances). Men themselves have higher rates of sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction, jaculatory difficulty, and decreased libido.
The effects on women's reproductive health are greater by mimicking the female hormone estrogen that can be caused by BPA. These often lead to other hormonal disorders, such as PCOS, ovarian failure, or possible lower egg quality.
Try as best you can to decrease your use of canned foods. I know it's a pain to soak beans overnight, but I promise, it’s all worth it!
